An 8 string with attitude, purpose, poise and clarity.
The Spider shares the same carve as the original series guitars and the similarities don’t end there. Constructed with clarity and attack in mind the Spider prevents things getting too muddy or too shrill ! – no-one likes the “ice-pick”
Taking warmth from the mahogany body and clarity and brightness from the quartersawn bubinga neck and maple fingerboard, the spider never loses a note to mush !
With a slick and thin and flat neck 18-20mm from the 1st to the 12th frets, the spider is not unwieldy or difficult to play – Just ask Fred !
